Today many couples are choosing to have a wedding ceremony apart from the traditional church setting. I find this especially true for couples wanting beach weddings along the West Michigan lake shore, and in quaint places like Pentwater, Silver Lake and Ludington. They love the beauty of Lake Michigan. But sometimes this can create difficulty in finding a minister or wedding officiant to perform the service.
Since 2005 my goal has been to fill this need for a professional, credible, ordained wedding officiant who is able to honor the sanctity of the marriage ceremony but who is also willing to serve the couple according to their desires.
Now, finding the right
person to marry you is an important decision – after all, this person
will have
a huge influence on the tone of your wedding ceremony . You'll want to make sure

(The Hexagon House B&B)
My wife Amy and I have been married 32 years and are blessed with two wonderful daughters. We are also proud grandparents of three grandchildren. We are year-round innkeepers of The Hexagon House Bed and Breakfast in Pentwater Michigan which is a cozy village just south of Ludington on the shore of Lake Michigan . When not busy with innkeeping duties, or helping a couple with a wedding ceremony, we enjoy reading and fussing over Lucy, our Golden Retriever and two cats who choose to remain anonymous.
Prior to becoming an innkeeper in west Michigan, I was involved in church development for 25 years in both part and full-time capacities. I was ordained with the Church of God in Indiana, but worked as a lay minister for several different denominations including Lutheran, Methodist and non-denominational churches, as well as an international church consulting firm. My ordination in Michigan is through Lutheran Urban Ministries in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
